"Well I like how smooth it feels, but I’m sad that the color isn’t the one I wanted. In the pictures, it showed to be a soft pink but on me, it looks more like a bright (almost neon) pink. I wish there’s some kind of sample (can be strips of lip color on paper or something that I could hold up against my skin) that we could request so we can try and find our true colors instead of guessing based on the models/pictures."
"I agree with other reviews- these creamy balms have great buildable colour payoff. They leave a stain, so you cld easily slick a complementary lip oil which, in my experience, lack longevity, on top. Darling Lane, a sheer dusty rose with a hint of mauve, reads as a Fall shade on me. I would love to see the range expanded with an (admittedly subjective) nude pink (reference: Rimmel 070 ‘Airy Fairy’) Regardless, I now own the full lineup."

"As a light spring, I have found a great tinted balm in Peacock Lane. It provides a diffused matte just bitten look for me, easy to throw on and go and if I want to amp it up I use it with a red lip liner. I appreciate that there is no fragrance or flavor and the bullet packaging is easy."
"Like Mae lipstick, this reads a little dark in the tube, but once you put it on - OMG! It is sheer berry-ish perfection that looks good all by itself but is ABSOLUTE PERFECTION on me when I pair it with Morning Dew lip liner. I don’t know what’s in this balm but it is pretty much the only thing I apply that makes my lips look smooth and young-ish. I liked it so much I ended up buying the clear balm too so I could use it throughout the day without over-saturating the color!
